Niger: Habou’s story part two

Friday 29 June 2012

Read part one of Habou’s story

When I met three-year-old Habou and his mother Tsahara two weeks ago, Habou was extremely sick and suffering from acute malnutrition.

After being assessed by Save the children staff at the local health clinic, he was provided with immediate treatment.

After 24 hours, he was already showing signs of improvement.

I recently travelled back to Habou’s village to see how he and his family were getting on.

I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw him. Watch this video to see how Habou is getting on now.

Please give to our West Africa Appeal so we can reach more children like Habou
