A shout out to our Olympians!

Tuesday 31 July 2012

Please join us in wishing the best of luck to supporters of the World Marathon Challenge competing in Olympic athletic events in the coming week!

Andrew Osagie – pictured below with some of the runners at the 2011 World Marathon Challenge event at St Mary’s – is running in the 800m, starting with round one on Monday 6 August.

Andrew is the world indoor bronze medalist at the distance, so we have high hopes he’ll go all the way to the final.

And Jo Pavey starts on the first evening of Olympic Stadium action in the 10,000m on Friday night. It’s Jo’s fourth Olympic Games, an amazing achievement!
