24 Hours? Anyone know how we reach Jack Bauer?

As the man supposedly in charge of transport for our attempt at the 3 Peaks I spent a load of time yesterday night trying to work out routes, times, schedules etc

My conclusion at the end of all this is that 24 hours feels VERY scary indeed as a timeline for our challenge leaves us split 13 hours climbing, and 11 hours driving. The link below helped build a plan, and laid out a few useful tips…including the polite suggestion that we might time our attempt to avoid driving through Carlisle at closing time for all the pubs!

http://users.tinyonline.co.uk/richieev/tp/drive.htm After some feedback with the team, looks like we have settled on a start time of 5am at Ben Nevis (with an hour of delay possible if the weather isn’t with us). This should leave us adequate daylight to navigate the tricky ascent and much of the descent at Scafell with Snowdon to be completed 2 hours before the sun comes up on the 27th.

Fundraising going OK – a few more good bits and pieces in the plan today but still MILES to go….
