2013: our fundraisers make an amazing start

A fast year

Could you go one whole day without food? Well, Jo Beale, is doing just that, but every single week for the whole of 2013.

Every friday, she’ll eat nothing, all in aid of raising money and awareness that families in poorer countries are having to schedule ‘food free days’ every single week.

She’s already raised an incredible £1862.00 so far, and she’s only one month in.

Journey of a lifetime

A group of fundraisers from Mitsubishi Electric, and other air conditioning companies, are setting out on a journey of a lifetime.

They’re embarking on a 500k bike ride from Vietnam to Angkor Wat, with an initial aim to raise £55,000!

So far they’ve completely smashed their target and are currently on £68,786.81! I hope you’ll agree this is an absolutely fantastic achievement, and wish them luck on their journey.
