Williams F1 Grand Prix Collection: an unmissable event

Williams F1, one of the world’s leading Formula One teams,  will showcase its Grand Prix Collection in a one-off charity event in aid of Save the Children.

On Saturday 28 September, Williams will give guests the chance to take a close-up look at the world-class cars that have now passed off the race track and into history, at the Williams Conference Centre in Grove, Oxfordshire.

As well as a tour of the Collection and a presentation from Kirsty Andrew from Williams Advanced Engineering, this black-tie event will place racing fans in pole position, giving them the chance to take the wheel and experience the thrill of a 325km per hour race in a F1 simulator.*

Later in the evening, BBC celebrity Jonty Hearnden will be overseeing the auction of a host of valuable lots, including tickets for Williams F1 race days; there will also be a raffle, with all proceeds going to Save the Children.

Kirsty Andrew, at Williams Advanced Engineering said: “We are delighted to play host to what promises to be an exciting evening where members of the public can get a taste of Williams’ Formula One history and raise money for a very worthy cause that we have a history of supporting, including previously running the Save the Children logo on our F1 car.

“I will be talking to guests about innovation within Formula One and the way Williams is now looking beyond the race track to introduce its technologies into a growing range of everyday applications.”

Tickets are £95 with all proceeds going to support Save the Children’s work helping the world’s poorest children.
