Rasha Daya

Rasha Daya is a youth activist from Syria. She started advocating for refugees to fulfill their right to an education following the breakout of the Syrian war and the tragic displacement of millions of Syrians inside and outside the country. In 2015, she was recognized by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office as an exceptional young leader from Syria and was awarded a Chevening Scholarship. Rasha is an education advocate working with Save the Children. She speaks out publicly in the UK on refugees’ right to education and supports the Send My Friend to School campaign.
