I'm a Senior Emergency Programme Manager for Save the Children. I'm also a Nobel Peace Prize Co-laureate as a co-founder of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines. I'm the founder and former director of the international demining NGO Mines Advisory Group, and have had many experiences responding to emergencies, most recently in Indonesia following the 2004 tsunami in Aceh, and in Yogyakarta following the 2006 earthquake.
